NDO Consultants Ltd has been in business for over 14 years and offers a wide range of services connected to the world of product development and environmental testing, founded by Neill Ovenden a test and development engineer with many years experience of vibration, environmental and structural testing in Automotive, Defence, Electronics markets, the team has been extended in the field of Management Accounting, Bookeeping, MRP, BOMS with the valued addition of Donna Ovenden, between them they offer over 65 years of business management, technical manufacturing and testing experience.

With more than 20 years overall company P&L management experience, Neill has also led technical sales and marketing for vibration analysis software companies including Data Physics, m+p international and LMS International. For the last 9 years Neill has been Managing Director and led the redevelopment of DJB Instruments (UK) Ltd to be a global accelerometer supplier.

Services offered:

Technical support: We can offer your company technical advice on vibration and environmental testing issues, charging by the hour this is a great way to get an experienced opinion to fill in the gaps in your teams knowledge.

Equipment Hire : Currently available – range of small electrodynamic shakers, amplifiers, IEPE impact hammers, handheld accelerometer calibrators and accelerometers. Available on a weekly hire basis with a minimum period of 2 weeks.

• G&W (DP) V20 with a PA100E amplifier
• DP V55 with a PA100E amplifier
• LDS V406 with 25W amplifier
• IEPE impact hammers ranging from 50N range through to 50kN range
• Handheld vibration calibrator

Training: We offer a range of courses held at a central UK location, subjects covered: Vibration Shaker Testing Basics (1 day), Vibration Shaker Testing Advanced (1 day), Practical Basics of Accelerometers, Selection and Use (1/2 day), Signal Processing Basics (1 day) all of these courses are strcutured to focus on a practical and useful appraoch so engineers can improve their understanding and testing techniques.

We can also offer onsite course, tailored to suit the customer, contact us to discuss your requirements, if you have a group or 6 or more engineers/designers/managers involved in testing, this can be a more cost effective option.

Consultancy: We offer consultancy in a range of areas, Technical Sales & Marketing, Accounts & Book keeping, Manufacturing processes, BOMS and stock management.
